Description of the Slavonic Pedagogical Studies Journal´s article style

The Publisher enables prospective authors to contact the editor by e-mail  pegasjournal@pegasjournal.eu. Only original previously unpublished (empirical) studies might be proposed for the Slavonic Pedagogical Studies Journal (Pegas Journal). According to the Slovak law statute Act n. 618/2003, the editor decides about copyright and does not offer any remuneration. It is a condition of publication that authors assign copyright or license the publication rights in their articles, including abstracts, to the SVO, s.r.o. This enables us to ensure full copyright protection and to disseminate the article, and of course the Pegas Journal to the widest possible readership in paper and electronic formats as appropriate. The articles that were not called for will not be sent back to the authors. We strongly encourage you to send the final, revised version of your article, electronically, by mail to pegasjournal@pegasjournal.eu. Contributions and studies are double-blind peer-reviewed.
If the Pegas Journal decides to call for extensive emperical studies (up to 108 000 characters or 60 standard pages), these will be also peer-reviewed. Only after the decision of their publication, names of the reviewers will appear at the end of each long study. And this due to its easy registration as a journal monography.
Proofs will be sent to authors if there is sufficient time to do so. They should be corrected and returned to the editor within three days. Major alterations to the text cannot be accepted.

Authors of contributions and research studies should present an accurate account of the work performed as well as an objective discussion of its significance. Manuscripts in MS Word must be submitted using the TEMPLATE format 1 and 2 and written in one of the following languages (English, Slovak, Czech, Polish, Slovenian, Russian, French) following the rules of academic style where high-quality grammar and style are essential. Submissions must include – apart from the main text – the following elements: title, authors, affiliations, contacts, abstracts, key words, and when applicable: introduction, main text, research results, conclusion, appendix, references. Papers should be formatted into A4-size pages, with the title and whole author´s names in 10-point, abstracts, key words, main text, bibliographic references and professional signature in 9-point Times New Roman, in single-spaced one-column format. Figures and tables must be sized as they are to appear in print. Figures should be placed exactly where they are to appear within the text. Other formats are not acceptable. Authors submit their papers electronically through e-mail to the Journal's submission address pegasjournal@pegasjournal.eu.
The paper should be sent from the professional (academic institution) e-mail address in two folders. In the first folder, there will be the author´s name, the whole professional institution address, an academic e-mail address. In the second folder, there will be the very final author´s version of the scientific article about selected educational topics (without author´s identification). Besides, the author submits, in the second e-mail article attachment, two formats of abstract and key words and the title of the article. The first format of abstract and key words will be written in the language of the article (English or Slovak or Czech or Polish or Slovenian or Serbo-croatian or Russian or French). The second format of abstract and key words as well as the title of the article are obligatory submitted in English. In the e-mail which will contain the two folders, the author will write a note that the submitted article was not published elsewhere and is not under consideration by any other journal. The authors are asked to provide the raw data in connection with a paper for editorial review. The authors should ensure that they have written entirely original works, and if they have used the work and/or words of others that this has been appropriately cited or quoted. Authors should not publish manuscripts describing essentially the same research in more than one journal or primary publication. Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently constitutes unethical publishing behaviour and is unacceptable. Proper acknowledgement of the work of others must always be given. Authors should cite publications that have been influential in determining the nature of the reported work. A paper should contain sufficient detail and references to permit others to replicate the work. Fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate statements constitute unethical behavior and are unacceptable.
Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the reported study. All those who have made significant contributions should be listed as co-authors. Where there are others who have participated in certain substantive aspects of the research project, they should be acknowledged or listed as contributors. The corresponding author should ensure that all appropriate co-authors and no inappropriate co-authors are included on the paper, and that all co-authors have seen and approved the final version of the paper and have agreed to its submission for publication. All authors should disclose in their manuscript any financial or other substantive conflict of interest that might be construed to influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript. All sources of financial support for the project should be disclosed. When an author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in his/her own published work, it is the author‘s obligation to promptly notify the journal editor or publisher and cooperate with the editor to retract or correct the paper.
When sending a scientific paper, authors should note that we are obliged to review a number of papers and these are considered and judged in hierarchy. The publication fee is 120 euros and comprises costs connected with the double-blind review process and if the paper is accepted, the fee comprises also DOI code allocation and one copy of the printed journal. The publication fee must be payed the day when the article or the study is sent to pegasjournal@pegasjournal.eu . The payement should be provided with the author´s variable symbol (author´s name) which will be indicated in the mail with two folders (article and authors´ names). Account details:
