Abstract
The bars of analysis of the textbooks of FLE which we chose as base in our research, do not take into account the cultural aspect of the textbooks of French not maternal language whom we are studying. However, we consider that it is impossible to speak of a language without speaking about its culture. The textbooks of first year of the Italian high schools propose a " place culture ". This section draws particularly our attention because we try to know which cultures are put advanced in the analyzed textbooks but also which images of the French is conveyed abroad.
