A RESEARCH ON THE READING SKILLS OF ENDING GRADUATES FROM SPECIAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS IN THE NITRA REGION

In the paper are presents the actual research findings obtained by evaluation and analysis of the reading of seventeen pupils with mild intellectual disability in the Nitra region. As a research tool was used text Shopping dog from Reading test for young school ages by Mikulajova and Varyova (2012). The most common mistakes occuring in the end of age graduates with mild intellectual disability learned at special primary schools were mistakes in the grammar, semantically distant and pseudo-class categories. The percentage of graduating graduates with mild intellectual disability in the test of comprehension reading text was 67%.
