FUTURE CLASSROOM LAB: AN INNOVATIVE APPROACH TO DIGITAL INCLUSION AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF DIGITAL COMPETENCIES IN EDUCATION

Abstract
This article explores the possibilities for implementing and utilizing a 21st-century classroom concept designed for kindergartens and primary schools. The aim is to present both the theoretical foundations and practical aspects of implementing the Future Classroom Laboratory (FCL), with a focus on interdisciplinary connections, support for inclusive education, modernization of digital infrastructure, and the integration of modular furniture into existing school environments. We analyze the opportunities and challenges associated with the transition to digital learning environments and discuss the evolving role of the teacher as a qualified professional in the digital age.

Abstrakt
Tento článok skúma možnosti implementácie a využitia konceptu učebne 21. storočia určeného pre materské a základné školy. Cieľom je predstaviť teoretické základy aj praktické aspekty implementácie Laboratória budúcej triedy (FCL) so zameraním na interdisciplinárne prepojenia, podporu inkluzívneho vzdelávania, modernizáciu digitálnej infraštruktúry a integráciu modulárneho nábytku do existujúcich školských prostredí. Analyzujeme príležitosti a výzvy spojené s prechodom na digitálne vzdelávacie prostredia a diskutujeme o vyvíjajúcej sa úlohe učiteľa ako kvalifikovaného odborníka v digitálnom veku.
